Business strategies to weather climate change
Breakfast with Purpose:
From Here to Resilience – Hong Kong Businesses’ strategies and needs to weather climate change
The Purpose Business and BASF are hosting a special, invite-only event with the Capacity Center for Climate and Weather Extremes (C3WE) at the US National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR).
NCAR is a US federally funded center for science, service, research and education in atmospheric and related sciences, working with scientific institutions around the world. C3WE’s special focus is to translate the “big data” of climate science into actionable formats and tools for business and government decision-makers. They are traveling to Hong Kong specifically to showcase their models and learn about our priorities. This is a rare opportunity to articulate your needs, to a group that can create data-driven tools for more resilient business.
Following an update on big data and insights, Greg Holland, Director of C3WE, Hong Kong business leaders will discuss the views, priorities and needs of businesses and climate risk.
Attendance at this event is strictly invitation only. To be considered for an invitation please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
